The Athletics announced several transactions today, with right-hander selected to the roster, a move that was on Monday. They also recalled left-hander from Triple-A Las Vegas. To open spots on the active roster for those two, left-hander was optioned to Vegas and fellow lefty was placed on the 15-day injured list with left rotator cuff tendonitis, retroactive to May 13.
