MP NEET 2025 counselling will be held online by Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh. Dates for counselling will be released along with the official information brochure. MP NEET counselling dates 2025 will be announced after NEET 2025 result. NEET 2025 exam was held on May 4, 2025. The counselling will begin tentatively in July 2025. Candidates will have to register on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in and submit application form to participate in the MP NEET counselling 2025 for MBBS/BDS admission under state quota seats. Based on registration, a merit list comprising shortlisted candidates will be released. Candidates will have to fill choice of colleges and courses and lock them in the given deadline.

MP NEET Counselling 2025 starts with online registration, followed by release of state merit list, choice filling, seat allotment result, and reporting for document verification. It must be noted only candidates who qualify NEET 2025 with the minimum cut off will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment process. DME, MP will allot seats based on merit position, choice filled, availability of seats, reservation factors etc. Candidates have to download the seat allotment result from the official website.Those allotted seats have to report physically for document verification. 

DME holds counselling for allotment of 85% state quota seats. A total of 37 government and private colleges will be participating in the counselling process. MP NEET counselling 2025 will be conducted in four rounds, first, second, mop-up, and college-level rounds. The mop-up round for MP NEET 2025 counselling will be organised if any seats are left vacant after the second round.

MP NEET 2025 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of MP NEET 2025 need to fulfil the following eligibility requirement, set by DME:

Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age of the applicants.

Qualification: Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as core subjects.

Domicile: Applicant must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Those who have completed their formal education from the state, but are not domiciled in MP, can also apply for MP NEET counselling.

MP NEET 2025 Counselling Process

Profile Creation:

Candidates have to create profile on the official website before registration. Candidates will have to provide details such as roll number, secret key, and captcha, contact number, bank details to create profile. 

Registration:

Post the announcement of NEET result 2025, all those who have qualified for the examination and wish to participate in the counselling will have to register on the official website of DME. They must note that it is mandatory to register online to fill the application form for the counselling of MP NEET 2025.

Seat matrix and merit list:

DME will release the list of participating institutes along with the seats available in them for each category. This seat matrix will be followed by the release of MP NEET state merit list. This merit list will include the names of all eligible candidates who had filled the application form for MP NEET 2025 counselling.

Choice Filling and locking:

Candidates who have been included in the state merit list can proceed towards choice filling. To access the choice filling option, they will have to log in to the account created during the registration/application process. It is important to note that the candidate who fails to fill the desired choices will not be considered for the seat allotment process. They must also lock their choices before the last date to be considered for the next stages of MP NEET counselling 2025. 

Seat allotment list:

Based on the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, DME will prepare the result for the counselling of MP NEET 2025. The result for MP NEET counselling 2024 is better known as the seat allotment list. DME will release a separate seat allotment list for every round of MP NEET 2025 counselling.

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want to continue with it will be required to report to the respective institute for document verification. They need to carry original certificates, with two attested copies, to the allocated institute for verification. They will also need to deposit the tuition fee for the current year to confirm admission.

MP NEET 2025 Counselling: Fee Structure

The fee structure for medical/dental is revised every year. Annual fees for government medical/dental colleges is subsidised and is, therefore, five to ten times less than that for private medical colleges.
