When I started playing Diablo 4 as a Barbarian, I quickly realized that just relying on Frenzy alone doesn’t get you very far. Frenzy is a solid basic attack skill, but without some extra support, it feels weak against tougher enemies. That all changed with the Season 10 Dual Threat Chaos Perk. This perk allows you to hit enemies with multiple Basic Skills in a single attack, making Frenzy much more powerful and fluid to use Diablo 4 gold.
Before unlocking Dual Threat, I recommend pairing Frenzy with Upheaval to help with damage output and survivability while leveling. Once you unlock Dual Threat, you want to max out Combat Frenzy for the main damage and increased damage resistance. The Combat upgrade lets you hold down the Frenzy button bound on the right mouse button on PC, so your character automatically moves and attacks targets you point at, making gameplay feel smooth and effortless.
Battle Lunging Strike maxed adds great burst damage with the Battle upgrade causing enemies to bleed. Dual Threat allows Frenzy to lunge toward enemies, increasing your damage reach. Supporting skills like Strategic Rallying Cry provide an Unstoppable buff and Fortify effect, boosting survivability. Tactical Challenging Shout taunts all nearby enemies and generates Fury to keep your skills ready. Power War Cry acts as a massive damage steroid, increasing DPS dramatically, and Supreme Wrath of the Berserker is your big steroid for boss fights, stacking on top of War Cry buffs Diablo 4 Items.
Playing this build essentially comes down to holding the Frenzy key and occasionally pressing Wrath of the Berserker against bosses. Early on, you’ll still cast your Shouts manually, but after unlocking the Deafening Chorus Chaos Power, they activate automatically. The feeling is smooth and aggressive—sort of like playing a powerful Spiritborn or Werewolf Druid. This is one of the most enjoyable ways I’ve found to level Barbarian quickly and effectively in Season 10.
