So, you’re after Minister Screw? I get it – either you’re stuck or you just want the shiny loot he drops. Happens to all of us. You’ll need to head over to Xylos, specifically the Gilded Foundry. The main floor? Forget it. He’s hiding in a tucked-away zone called the Assembly of Penance. Best way there is to fast travel to Scrapheap Gateway, then move north past the massive slag crusher. And yeah, expect trouble – there are Maliwan diehards all along that path. If you’re saving time and resources, having a stash of Borderlands 4 Cash might make gearing up a bit easier before you go in.

Keep pushing until you reach a big round chamber with a busted bridge. Don’t bother trying to cross. Look left and you’ll spot a narrow maintenance corridor – easy to miss if you’re rushing. Inside you’ll deal with Screwbots and a quick puzzle: shoot three glowing conduits to open the last blast door. Once you’re through, you’ll spot the man himself up on a raised platform, rambling like he owns the place.

The fight’s no joke. Minister Screw comes with a giant regenerating shield that keeps swapping weaknesses between shock and corrosive. You need both elements ready – no way around it.

He’ll zip around the arena, dropping storms that fry your shields in seconds. Then there’s his big move, The Screwdriver, a beam attack that’ll knock you straight into Fight For Your Life if you’re not quick. There are also little bots popping up to keep you busy, so watch your positioning and keep stripping that shield whenever the weakness shows.

Now, onto the gear. He’s got two drops worth chasing. First is The Loose Cannon, a legendary Torgue launcher with rockets that spiral through the air, covering a ridiculous area – perfect for wiping mobs but not ideal for single targets.

Second is The Circuit Breaker, a legendary class mod built for shock builds, especially for Vault Hunters who stack tech skills. It boosts shock damage and can instantly refill your shield when you land a shock status effect. Of course, the usual world-drop legendaries are in the mix, but if you’re here, it’s for those two. And with Borderlands RNG, be ready for multiple runs – having some extra Borderlands 4 Cash buy might just make the grind a bit sweeter.
