Many Brea residents know Andrew Herrera as the “Enjoy Brea Guy” through his volunteer social media platforms, Brea city council candidate 2026 where he has spent time introducing residents to local businesses, restaurants, services, and community activities.

BREA, CA, UNITED STATES — Andrew Herrera is running for Brea City Council in the 2026 General Municipal Election, with his campaign focusing on small businesses, local economic activity, community input, and responsible planning for the city's future.

The City of Brea has scheduled its 2026 General Municipal Election for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Three at-large City Council positions will be on the ballot, with each seat carrying a four-year term. The official City of Brea election page lists Andrew Herrera among the candidates.

Herrera's connection to Brea's business community has developed through his volunteer “Enjoy Brea” platforms. His campaign says he has spent the past several years meeting local business owners, learning about their work, and sharing their stories and services with the community.

“Brea has an incredible community of people who put their time and energy into making the city a great place to live and work,” Herrera said. “I want to continue listening to residents and business owners and bring their experiences into conversations about local government.”

As a Brea city council candidate 2026, Herrera has identified small-business support as a major part of his campaign. His campaign says he wants to explore practical ways the city can help businesses operate, grow, and remain part of Brea's commercial community.

If elected, Herrera says his areas of focus would include:

• Supporting an efficient process for businesses working with the city.
• Encouraging entrepreneurship and locally owned businesses.
• Supporting infrastructure projects that benefit residents and businesses.
• Working with local business owners on economic-development opportunities.
• Maintaining attention to public safety and essential city services.
• Promoting responsible financial planning and long-term community development.

Herrera's campaign also emphasizes the importance of community participation. His campaign materials state that he would seek input from residents before making decisions affecting the community. His campaign website provides opportunities for residents to volunteer, receive updates, and contact the campaign.

“I believe people should have an opportunity to share their ideas and concerns before important local decisions are made,” Herrera said. “Listening to the community is something I want to carry with me into public service.”

Brea operates under a council-manager form of government. The five-member City Council serves as the city's legislative body, establishes policy, and adopts ordinances and resolutions. The city manager implements council policy through the city's operating departments. Council members are elected at-large and serve four-year terms.

Herrera's campaign also points to his involvement with the Brea Historical Society as part of his continuing effort to learn about the city's history and development. Campaign information says his community involvement has helped him gain additional perspective on Brea and its residents.

The 2026 election includes three Brea City Council positions. Orange County's Registrar of Voters also lists the City of Brea City Council contest as a three-member municipal contest for the 2026 General Election.

Herrera says his campaign will continue communicating with residents, business owners, and community organizations as Election Day approaches. His campaign website provides additional information about his candidacy, volunteer opportunities, voting resources, and campaign contact details.
