The sun and moon are two celestial bodies that have fascinating people for a very long time.  As a solar object, the sun gives off radiating energy, which includes light and heat and is necessary for life on Earth.  On the other hand, the moon is Earth's natural neighbour. It orbits around the planet and is pulled towards it by gravity.
 The sun is in the middle of our solar system because it is the closest star to Earth.  The object in question is a huge sphere made mostly of hydrogen and helium gases. Nuclear fusion is what makes the atmosphere of this object so hot.  The sun's energy provides the warmth and light that plants and animals need to survive.
 The moon, on the other hand, is a celestial body that is based on Earth and orbits around it.  Even though this stellar body is a lot smaller than the sun, it still has a powerful effect on Earth.  Scientists think that the moon's gravity pull causes tides in the oceans around the Earth.
