All this tinkering has a way of expanding the backlog, though. Once I started poking around mod folders and load orders again, I found myself browsing for other soulslikes and metroidvanias to test my newly thickened glove against — and my wishlist quietly grew into something resembling a phone book. That is usually the moment when patience stops being a virtue and becomes a waiting game for the next seasonal sale, which is exactly the kind of thing a steam deal finder(https://dealnesthq.com/ ) is built for. It saves you from refreshing store pages and guessing when a price will finally dip. It is a small quality-of-life upgrade in the same spirit as the mods above: nothing dramatic, just less friction between you and the part you actually enjoy.

PC players who enjoy fine-tuning a difficult game with mods tend to be the same crowd that keeps an eye on a good bargain. After all, the ideal time to try a demanding new title is often when it costs a little less, and DealNest is a straightforward place to browse PC game discounts(https://dealnesthq.com/ ) before adding another game to the backlog. That small bit of price-checking won’t make a boss fight any easier, but it does make the decision to jump in feel a little lighter—and leaves more room to appreciate the parts of a game that are supposed to be punishing, not the receipt.
