It is mostly to make the choices you make a little more meaningful. When you're leveling up, especially, you won't have too many skill points to have fun with. But at the same time, in the end endgame, if you truly wish to put money into your personality, you're going to have Diablo IV Items the ability to max out all the abilities eventually.I'm excited to see the Druid yield. Are you bringing this course back?
The Druid actually -- clearly that the Druid is a favorite. Everyone loves a Druid. But we really needed a concept piece that got done a while back by somebody in home that gave him a bit of a different look, perhaps, to how he looked in D2.Once that piece went up, it was just like, okay, we're heading, we gotta do so. What with all the new engine and that, it was a fantastic opportunity for -- from an art standpoint, with the Druid, for the character team to go all in. On the front end he has the puppies, the fur, it seems cool.
Is that a shame? We just picked what courses are great for Diablo 4. We have reverence for all the Diablos. We're just hoping to catch the best bits throughout the board, since we want to produce the ideal expertise in Diablo possible.Diablo 4 has in-game cinematics for the very first time. How hard is it to implement that?
It had been an undertaking. It is actually the first time we've seen, in Diablo -- usually we do matte paintings and whatnot. The simple fact that you truly notice that vista shot, that's the entire world. That's the actual place. It is obviously seamless. The whole thing happens in real time. The entire point that we're attempting to construct in Sanctuary is we are treating it like a personality. It made sense to say, hey, we want to reveal this place which we're building for people to spend some time in. You can go to it when you see it. Yes, it was definitely -- I mean, there is a new pipeline for it and whatnot, naturally. Nevertheless, it was worth it.
Does that make it even more challenging to design all these assets that are different? Now all of the pieces of equipment need to look good enough to closeups. Those are all considerations. When you look in Diablo III, there's a lot of 2.5D stuff with the trees and whatnot. That all must not happen anymore, because today we've got this game where we are building it entirely in the round. We've got terrain elevation. All of the assets are constructed like regular 3D game assets. It permits us to do things like that using the camera that we've never been able to do. It empowering in a sense, you know?
What's the approach to loot to get cheap Diablo IV Gold? Is it all about getting a good deal of it's bad, or can it be smaller meaningful drops and a ton of loot? We have a change coming from Diablo III in loot, and that's you can get more powerful versions of the items, even. The reason for this is that we wanted to make certain we have that feeling of struggle. We can provide you that type of thing, more potent loot if you're killing monsters. I would say that is the greatest change.
